“Land of Silence” sheds light on one of the most urgent yet overlooked challenges in Ukraine: landmines and explosive remnants of war. Through deeply personal stories, Land of Silence follows the lives of ordinary Ukrainians who have taken on the extraordinary task of making their homeland safe again. We meet Pavlo, a veteran deminer reviving Ukraine’s farmlands one field at a time; Nataliia, whose life changed when she found an explosive device in her home and chose to join the frontlines of demining; and Oleksandr, a scientist transforming data and satellite imagery into life-saving guidance for mine action teams.
